Wasnt sure where to put this, so here it is! Its not my own project so I wasnt gonna put it in Land of teh Clever...

So a buddy of mine is working on a new comic series. He created a Kickstarter for it (he is doing it Print) and I wanted to let you guys know.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ran ... ook-series

Here is a bit about it:

What is Liberty?

Liberty is a 15 issue comic book series about a revolution taking place in the colony of Atrius. The story focuses on the life of Tertulius "TJ" Justus, the lead actor on a government propaganda broadcast that everyone believes is real. For reasons beyond his control, TJ is fired and while an episode depicting his fictitious death is aired to the public the government kidnaps him and schedules a secret execution (to further maintain that the show is real). Through a series of fortunate events, TJ is able to escape prison with an idealist who convinces TJ that their leader, an eccentric tyrant known as "Mayor" Grimm, needs to be stopped. With no friends and nowhere else to go, TJ uses the only talent he has, his ability to stretch the truth, to put together a makeshift brigade of gun-runners, ex-cons, and gangers to overthrow Grimm. The series will focus on character interaction, social morality, realistic fight sequences, and the gritty city of Atrius.

so by "Buddy" you meant Careless from Random Encounter. You really should put that somewhere in the description, as it makes me (and probably others) far more interested :D

that wasnt my goal... the concept and art are fantastic, but then you throw in that its by Careless and you HAVE to give him money. If anything, i was trying to help :D

Haha

I stuck it up on Reddit in every place I could (where it already was not promoted) so hopefully I can help him out. He has talked to me about the comic quite a bit.

I even helped a bit on some of the reward levels! Not much though, just some advice.
