I registered, but I haven't seen the activation email come in yet.

I don't see anything in my maillogs indicating you've been blocked for spam or anything

Don't worry, it's probably all bots and/or Juggalos. No harm, no foul :)

How's this setup to send email? You just sending out via sendmail? Or are you using SMTP and actually authenticating with something somewhere?

Looks like it. And it's sending as from your name @ Gmail. That's probably no bueno.

Make up some account it can log into, it'll probably work right that way.

Sorry, I was responding on my phone -

I'm pretty anti-sendmail and pro-smtp. Is there some mail server out there that handles neskimoforums.com? Maybe you ought to have some account on said mail server, and configure the forums to send via smtp.

I know I've got some pretty strict anti-spam rules on my server. If I see a From: line with gmail.com, but no DKIM header that matches the actual gmail.com it's likely spam. You really should be sending out mail from neskimoforums.com

The alternative is to create an account on gmail, and setup the forum to use gmail's smtp server. That way, you're more likely to get through spam filters

If you don't already have any kind of mail server setup for neskimoforums, feel free to point some MX records at jrjrtech.com - I've already got everything setup for handling like 10 domains on that guy. Adding a new domain takes all of five minutes, and I could probably just make a sieve filter to forward email to your gmail.

THEY'RE BEATING CAPTCHA WTF?

BlackHeart, I like that anti-bot question! Another idea is to add a custom profile field and make it mandatory - does anybody have any ideas for one?

Well that simple question idea seems to mindfuck the spambots from registering.
