Been playing a little game called Intruder, it's in early alpha so it's not overly pretty and very bare but it's just so much fun.

Destiny - I'm really enjoying it. They do like to give some damn difficulty up in it. The first "raid" they've thrown out is a horrorscape of torment. Great Bungie FPS that has RPG elements swarming over it. Story and such, eh, blah, eh?

Madden 15 - Game plays fine, but the commentating is down right horrific. They'll constantly call things wrong throughout the game, and the presentation of after the game/halftime is terrible. The use of pronouns instead of names and such is just horrible. "He threw the ball 20 yards, before he ran it in for a touchdown. They kicked the extra point. He returns the kick for a touchdown. The raiders got the ball with 5 minutes left. He got a nice run for 10 yards. It set up a field goal. He has made three field goals today."

2k4 has a better gameday presentation. Graphics, no. Overall presentation? All up on NFL 2k4 still crushing competition that has been alive for 10 more years.

I'm very tempted. I'm not sure if it is purely because of the Zelda theme (note: it is)...because last time I played a Dynasty Warriors game (PS2 era)....I didn't enjoy it all that much.

Any different? Or still, probably not?

I'm finding it to be pretty enjoyable, some of that stemming from the sheer amounts of Zelda fan-service.
Haven't unlocked everyone yet, but Impa and Darunia are may favourites to use.

Smash Bros 3DS is pretty awesome, if the demo is anything to go off of.

I think I'm going to like Villager. He's kinda funky, but I like him. Megaman is nasty, too.

I love how when Megaman dies by falling off screen, he explodes in the pixel burst pattern like in the NES game. That detail was so awesome to see the first time. :awesome:

Ughh, just a few more days and I can play this. I've been wanting this game for so long.

Oh man, Ganondorf is so cool, and by cool I mean totally sweet.
Finished the story mode, it was cool, those CG story scenes were nice. Adventure mode is alright, but I get a bit frustrated when I think I'm doing well and then I get a B ranking.
Also, the music is awesome.

I'm really interested in Ruto. Shame I'll have to get through Adventure Mode to get her...

Really can't wait to play as all the characters though.

so, is the 3ds version the same game as the wiiu version?

or are they entirely separate with no cross-connectivity?

You mean Smash Bros? They have the same characters but a bunch of unique stages. You can't play together but you CAN use the 3DS as a controller for the Wii U Smash Bros. You can swap your character thing or something between them, however that works.
I was going to pick up a 3DS with Smash when it comes out next week, but after Nintendo announcing that Australia are getting the new 3DS in November, I'm just wait until then.

There are rumors that owning both unlocks more outfits and possibly a stage or character too. Yet, since the Wii-U version hasn't come out, no one really knows. Rumors be rumors, yo.

Current rumor is connecting the two versions unlocks Ridley, Dixie Kong, Mewtwo, and the Chorus Men from Rhythm Heaven. The supposed leaker is also one of the few who claimed Bowser Jr. was in the Clown Copter with Koopaling alts which turned out true so who knows.

Still hoping for Ridley over here.

lol that's such a situational thing how could that possibly be a rational knock against this game

like the wii u only has one game and you're being forced to buy it or something

DICK MOVE NINTENDO

Currently playing: Hyrule Warriors.

Oh damn is this game fun. Never played a Warriors game and the things I dislike seem to be from there. The map is a little unclear and its weird to have objections and missions given to you while you're across the map. The 'exploration' bits don't seem to mash up well with the 'defend your keeps' bits. The weapon fusion is also kind of awkward and unintuitive.
Overall though the combat is fun, the characters are unique, and the fanservice is very high. The second level where you have to defend the giant Bombchus made me smile constantly Haven't unlocked everyone but so far Sheik is my favorite. Really like the harp and how the elemental combos affect their attacks.

You aren't really supposed to explore the map in warriors games, you'll lose

It's all about being in a constant state of motion and keeping tabs on yr allies

Hyrule Warriors is rly lenient actually, I've been able to push "GO SAVE X DUMB COMPUTER GUY" pretty far and haven't messed up yet

the dick move would be requiring another purchase from the same manufacture to have access to data that is included in the original purchase.

not everyone likes to spend their money irresponsibly.

My friend and I played like 5 hours of Hammerwatch tonight. Paladin and Priest combo is OP and glorious.

That game is so mine during the winter sale.

Also, I love how when you die in the game, it gives you a graph of all your stats over the run. Like, mana usage over time, total distance covered, who picked up the most loot, etc. It was very therapeutic to look at after getting our asses kicked in a dumb way at the end, haha.

It really is, yeah.

I love the easter egg levels, too, where you go and do gauntlet

I tried playing as a Warlock and a Wizard for a bit, too, but I was having trouble getting into it. I think the Priest/Paladin team is really the best route. We got to a point where we could both heal each other. We just happened to get corned by a guy when we were totally out of lives and mana, and he wrecked us.

I've played Ranger and Paladin, Paladin was much easier. Last time I played was as Paladin with two mages, wrecked shit pretty good.
