I'm almost done my first ironman save of X-Com (No reloading, savegame deleted if you lose)

In terms of faithfulness to the original, I give it an A- ... there's definitely some dumbing down, but it's really, really intense. I get quite attached to my soldiers :\

Anyone else play it?

sooooooooo gooooooooooooood
i might even call it GOTY. though, tbh, there's not many contenders.

i want a terror from the deep expansion more than i want the apocalypse. it would be siiick on this engine.

i agree. i miss movement points and sort of dislike being stuck to two flat actions or ending my turn when i shoot (unless talents). i felt that their reasoning for it was sort of a cop out, but i can see where they wouldn't want to balance that.

though not the uber huge cop out that the retarded blizzard rep gave for the always on drm, rmah, and no character building.

i'll let you know when i buy it. i've been really wanting to play multi. it's the closest thing to a table top war game since jagged alliance.
