Ok so i'm using Windows XP and i had been logging into the default account which was Administrator. I finally made another administrator acount for myself and a guest account for anyone else. Yesterday the power went out, thus i had to restart my computer. The original Administrator account is gone and i cant access any of the files on there. I have like 5 gigs of music and it wont let me access it. I can't even delete it. Anyone have any idea what i should do? doing a roll back as the last resort.

Use a Linux LiveCD, copy your files onto a blank DVD or external drive, or a new part of the HD, format, and reinstall :)

When you're at the log on screen with all the different accounts, press ALT, CTRL, DEL, DEL. Yeah, tap DEL twice while holding ALT CTRL. That should bring you up to a login screen where you can type in the account name and password. It may depend on the version of XP you use. When I used XP, this is how I got into the admin account.

Yeah, and this time, when you install Windows, set up a User account at the "Let's spend some time setting up Windows" part.

Or better yet - this time, don't install Windows :-D
