I want to add some requests to my other ones. (some I thought of, some others made that I thought were excellent choices - i.e. Lost Vikings) I'm sticking to a more game-themed requests, although THGTTG theme would kick so much ass.

The Guardian Legend - Title Theme
Mega Man 3 - Gemini Man stage theme
Toejam and Earl - Funkotronic Beat (it's in space, right?)
The Lost Vikings - Crotonian Ship Theme
F-Zero - Mute City

My previous requests:

Duck Tails - The Moon Theme
TNMT IV Turtles in Time - Star Base, Where No Turtle Has Gone Before
Gradius Theme

ok - no more links, got it...

Super Metroid, but not some oft-covered song like Kraids Theme, or the intro/danger music. Something more methodical, more creeping, more like Meridia. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Norfair theme as much as any coldhearted space-pirate annihilating monster, but everyone and their dog has covered it. Also, chew on some delicious theme music for when you are on the surface of the moon in FFIV.

Well, as far as StarFox goes, I like "Corneria" personally.

Yes, only place I've ever heard Meridia covered is in the Crystal Flash medley... and it's my favorite part o.o

I found it somewhere, I can't recall where, but it is indeed pwn incarnate. I want to get some decently photoshop skilled person to make me one of Don Flamenco with Adam Sandlers head, since those two are obviously (note: I can not spell 'separate' correctly) at birth as well.

Back on top, how about some Z.o.E. covers? I don't remember any of the names from the songs, but the game and anime had some cool tunage.

Honestly, I listened to one or two of the Metroid Metal songs from when it was still the original metroid, and every time I tried... all I could think was "Crystal Flash is so much better..." So I never really listened to much of Metroid Metal.

Any Star Fox song requires Barrel Rolls.

I FINALLY FUCKING FOUND IT

THE Marathon soundtrack:
http://resurrection.bungie.org/mp3_file ... rathon.mp3
http://resurrection.bungie.org/mp3_files/landing.mp3
http://resurrection.bungie.org/mp3_files/leela.mp3
http://resurrection.bungie.org/mp3_files/freedom.mp3
http://resurrection.bungie.org/mp3_files/fatman.mp3
http://resurrection.bungie.org/mp3_files/flippant.mp3
http://resurrection.bungie.org/mp3_files/rushing.mp3

That's the soundtrack to the original Marathon. I never played enough of the others to remember it, but running around a spaceship with aliens all sneaking the fuck up on you while listening to this is intense.

Please, please please please listen to these.

I really like the splash music, it's all very good, but a bit repetitive. But GREAT when running around blasting aliens.

Great work y'all. More than one of your suggestions have made it onto the PAX setlist.

For now, though, answer honestly: who remembers the awesomely bad song from the end of Spaceballs when they're escaping from the exploding maid robot? It's not a trivia contest, so no need to go look it up. It's like a survey. Who remembers it?

Isn't that the theme song, "We're the Spaceballs"?

Otherwise....no.

I think you've got a winner there. But you need to have an epic intro for the song involving vague hints and quotes.
