I haven't cared for Wrestling since I was 10 years old but this is really amazing. I hope that one day, there'll be something like this for a thing that I love. Imagine some sort of Wacken-Network where you get metal based shows, documentaries and concerts the whole year and live coverage of the Wacken Festival itself.

Also, for your enjoyment, see the greatest Austrian wrestler ever fight the greatest wrestler of all time:

Oh god, please no! They can't do this. NO! An epic romance version of 1984 with Kristen Stewart in the lead. NO!

but. . . that's how media gets "good". it get chopped up, all of the intellectual content gets removed, because that stuff tests poorly, and a bunch of sloppily written dialogue is slapped over everything. and then maybe someone shouts "CATCHPHRASE!!!".

~why is it any surprise that mindless media sells the best when it is mindless media our "artists" make the most of? once people are forced to start thinking: it becomes a part of their nature. it becomes a source of serotonin; just as any acquired habit. if the lowest common denominator stops being catered to: the bar rises.~

Kevin Smith has finished his second podcast created movie script. Its a creep show anthology style movie about Krampusnacht.

Tusk also got picked up by some folks so we can expect to see it this year :D

I hope he still gets around to those... Because of course I do.

Also Clerks 3. I want that.

Basically by listening to his podcasts for a year and a half maybe more i've been a journey with him (as well as Jason Mewes). First the solid facts.

Clerks 3, still happening. He said he was doing that After TUSK because Tusk would be quicker to make and he could do that while the Weinstiens decide what to do.

The two hockey movies are going to be a mini series on some channel that hasn't been disclosed. It is not AMC. My speculation is ESPN due to the popularity of 30in30. Although it could go to NBCsports to compete a little with it since they are the only ones who actually show Hockey. Who knows. All he said is that "it will make sense."

Ok, so about him not retiring... Basically what happened is he realized that he needed to only make movies that HE would make. He says that making Zach and Miri felt like his version of an Apitow picture. He just sort of lost interest in making those kinds of films... But as for Clerks 3, Tusk, Hellena Handbag, and the new Krampusnacht movies, those are all pictures only he made. No one else has a "turn someone into a Walrus" movie, or "the Rapture happening and a Godzilla sized Jesus comes to earth to wipe the rest of the life off of the planet so Humanity makes a deal with Hell to fight back Jesus" musical, or Clerks 3, or a creepshow style anthology based on Krampusnacht.

And listening to the podcasts, i've heard the birth of these stories and it makes me VERY excited that something coming from two dudes talking can materialize into something as bad ass as these films.

Kevin Smith is back (to movie making) in a big bad way!

Personally I kind of think Kevin Smith has overstayed his welcome, but I mean, opinions, different strokes, etc. Don't want to get into a big thing about it because I know a lot of you guys are emotionally invested in his stuff, and I don't wanna be "that guy".

Apparently Jesse Eisenberg has been cast as Lex Luthor for the Batman-Superman movie.

I've heard worse casting decisions... But this one is certainly intriguing to say the least. Also Jeremy Irons as Alfred. I like that.

At least it's an Alfred that can use every ounce of Batman's anger.

I think Eisenberg's casting could potentially lead to something interesting. The idea of a younger businessman going up against the older Bruce Wayne and Superman could be cool. BUT I have a feeling they cast him because 1) Everybody recognizes him as 'the Facebook guy' which gives him an 'evil business' look already and 2) He's so small it'll make a huge impact when he gets put in the giant robot LexCorp suit they will inevitably use to punch Superman around.

More unexpected casting news. Paul Bettany isn't just Jarvis. Now he's gonna play The Vision in Age of Ultron.

I give this a :)

I wonder if he will be a creation of Stark Industries in the movie. An android that he puts Jarvis in.

Popular theory I've heard is that Stark creates Ultron (it was one of Stark's helmets that became Ultron in the teaser and Pym is no where to be seen...yet) and true to the comics Ultron creates Vision. However Vision will link up with Stark's mainframe, discover Jarvis, and that's where he gets the desire to be helpful and human from.

I'm still hoping the "Stark creates Ultron" theory turns out that Stark tries creating an AI suit and the Dum-E AI takes it over and turns rogue because of all the abuse.

It took me a while to warm up to McBride. This is the End did it for me.

have you watched Eastbound and Down? If not, take McBride from This is the End and make him a baseball player. It is hilarious.
