I don't think there's any thread for this yet. So if you watched anything you feel like talking about post it in here.

I just saw A Dirty Carnival. It's a Korean gangster film. It was pretty good, the fight scenes are reminiscent of the Old Boy one in the hallway. It was pretty good. Only complaint is its pretty long and some scenes are drawn out way to much, and subtitles are kind of funky. Theres also asians doing karaoke like 6 times in the movie.

i forgot how it was decently subtitled except for the occasional engrish overload, like when Shuya yells out "THAT WERE MY FRIENDS!"

Since I called out of work yesterday I wanted to occupy my time so I sat down and watched the whole Cadmus arc from Justice League Unlimited.

Been watching Arrested Development. I'm slow when it comes to catching on to all the good shows.

I just watched an episode of King of the Hill where it turned out that Hank had a long lost, half-Japanese brother, and then Peggy totally cockblocked Bobby from playing DDR with a cute Japanese girl. </3

Also, I'm totally glad that Adult Swim is picking up King of the Hill, I tell you what.

Oh, man, that'll be the most epic part of the movie when it comes up.

"What do you see here?"
"....A butterfly. :| "

That bit has what may be my favorite line out of the whole book.

"How are you Walter?"
"In prison. Yourself?"

I think "I left the human cockroaches to discuss their heroin and child pornography" is the one that made me lol when I first read it. R has some great lines.

Yeah, Rorschach is the fucking man. I am sooo crossing my fingers that he doesn't become the Joker of next year where everyone cosplays as him. That'd really kill the coolness factor of Rorschach if everyone and their gerbil made a costume of him.

That WILL happen. Undoubtedly.

Lucky for me, I'm a Manhattan man myself.

I don't have the body to cosplay as him, though. I'm not 6 feet tall and ripped, haha. So shaving myself down and wearing blue body paint is out of the question.

I just wanna get my Rorschach costume together before everyone else does, because I thought he was cool BEFORE the movie came out :P

And if everyone does make a Rorschach costume and turns him into faggy fail to cosplay, my back up plan is to do a Vault Dweller. Carry around a bag of bottle caps, and try to buy stuff from vendors at cons with it, and then be like "Wait...you want Pre-War money?...huh, well, alright..." :awesome:

Now THAT'S an idea.

Soruja has lost karma.

By that standard, no cosplayer in the history of cosplay will ever be Dr. Manhattan. Though thinking of some fat dude trying it is pretty funny.

Eternal Sunshine was a bit better than I remember it being but it still wasn't that great.

Welp

The funniest example of a buff cosplayer was Man-Peach from PAX. He was wearing a frilly princess peach dress and still looked like he could punch you through a brick wall.

Hahaha, yeah, but, I'm saying that if I ever did cosplay Dr. Manhattan, I'd want to look the part. Or, at least find a guy with a tall lanky build that we could draw a six-pack on or something, haha.

Also, I've never seen Eternal Sunshine. I have seen Beautiful Mind, though, and I always get those two mixed up in the titles, for some reason.
