I'm kind of surprised War Machine didn't get name dropped.

Apart from the ones attached to other companies right now, maybe for the sake of the movie universe continuity these other guys don't "exist" yet.

After the movie was over I was like "hey...." for that exact reason. But was so awesome I didn't even think of it until everything was over.

Also, best 2 seconds of the movie below...

In addition, Snifit : in about 20 years, you could be Mark Ruffalo's stunt double...

Ha ha, fair enough. I'll make sure to cast him in the movie of my life.

When Iron Man was soaring and shooting down guys I seriously thought he'd run into like a whole airborn platoon, pause, and then a bunch of shots from above would take them down and War Machine would come down, give a wave, and then fly off to fight more. Just a small token cameo.

@Locrian, the entire theater died of laughter at that part. Hulk seriously stole every single scene. Every one. Hulk was SO well done.
In fact, what might be my favorite moment from the film:

This may piss people people off (Snifit), but i think spidey was right. Hulk in his own movie... meh, Hulk in a movie with other super heroes to interact with, fucking amazing!

Hulk v Thor was awesome...

And When Thor brought the hammer down on Cap's shield and he just got up like "deal with it" was also amazing.

(where are you getting avenger gifs?)

Doesn't piss me off at all. Hulk interacting was great. I really think this was the best Hulk to date, and I enjoyed both the Hulk movies.

I've been finding my gifs through a combination of tumblr and Image Searching

It could just be that to me, the Hulk is sort of meh... but thats just me. I do however like him with other heroes, cause then things get funny.

As for Similar-esc characters, i feel Thing is more interesting than Hulk. >.> :coookieesssss:

Well, according to the movie's universe, Captain America was the very first super hero. So, everyone is still very recently popping up, it seems.

That'll be good for the sake of allowing new characters to enter the universe without making it too weird that no one had heard of them previously.

There is some fantastic subtle detail through the film.

When Iron Man falls back to Earth after Hulk stops him once he lays him down and opens the mask, Hulk pulls back a fist, puts it down, then pulls back a fist again before deciding to yell.

It seemed Hulk was a lot more beast. I noticed a few shots of him running where he used his hands to get a quick burst of speed like an ape.

Apparently this was the first time the same actor as Banner was used for the Hulk. Ruffalo said he did the mo-cap so there's a lot more consistency, I guess is the word, in the performances.

I just saw it now. I think Ruffalo was the best Bruce Banner to date, which is hard for me to say since Edward Norton is one of my favorite actors. I had huge doubts about the move of replacing Norton, but Ruffalo fucking nailed it. I don't know if I would say the Hulk is better with other heroes. I did still enjoy the Norton Hulk movie. The Eric Bana one, though, meh (although I love the shit out of the editing in that movie.) This movie though, and I can't quite put my finger on what it was, but I felt like this movie got something right about Hulk that the others didn't. Something about how the character acted felt more.... correct... if that makes sense.

A friend of mine said Ruffalo was great as Banner in a supporting character role, but can't see him taking over if he gets his own Hulk sequel. He thinks that as a supporting character, Ruffalo was a much better choice than keeping Norton, but for a feature, Norton would be better. I guess I kind of agree with that, but now that Mark Ruffalo was as good as he was, in movie with the second biggest opening weekend of all time no less, I can't see them going BACK to Edward Norton. Mark Ruffalo is now Bruce Banner.

Also, having never seen Captain America, I'm pleased by what I saw from Chris Evans. Solid performance from an actor I always kind of liked, but never really took seriously.

Dude. See Captain America. Chris Evans was fucking fantastic in that movie. It's kind of cool to see Golden Age WWII Cap in First Avenger and then see Silver Age man out of his time Cap in the Avengers. And Chris Evans nails both roles.

It still makes me laugh to think Captain America was Lucas Lee, Johnny Storm, AND Casey Jones.

Am I the only one who couldn't stop staring at Scarlett Johanson's ass when she was talking with Loki in his cell?

it's odd for me because I met Lucas Lee, Johnny Storm, Casey Jones and Captain America at the same time... Even weirder because the guy is about my height in person.

One thing I liked about it was the Hulk himself (not just Banner) really seemed to have personality, which wasn't the case so much in the previous Hulk movies.

NOPE. :coookieesssss:

Also, I read today that part of the sound mix for Hulk's screaming was Lou Ferigno's voice.

Well Ferrigno does voice the Hulk for his one line, and his line in Incredible Hulk.
